Rent-a-Goalie, a Showcase Original comedy series currently in its second season, takes place at a family-owned coffee shop, Café Primo, in Toronto’s Little Italy. This modern form of treatment uses its musical powers to marry a unique blend of art and science and continues to be met with increasing success. The group’s humble roots first penetrated Windsor from the tenth floor of Laurier Hall, three years ago. “We were just jammin’ and wrote a song,” Buccione says, pointing across the table at Watson, “Then we started recording—”  “Yeah, recording in the kitchen in rez,” Watson says, chuckling. “But we knew bigger and better things were coming.” Having bassist Patrick Bon Clayton join, Time’s composition was slowly ticking along. >> |
